MUST HAVE GROOMING BRANDS

Its no secret men are paying more attention to how

they look, so the type of products they using

should come as no surprise either. Grooming

is very important because it ensures great hygiene.

Taking care of yourself is not vain its you being

health conscious enough to take the necessary

steps to ensuring you good. Today's post looks at the

must have grooming products that every man should have

from shaving creams, to skin care products.

Skin Care

Gone are the days skin care routines were only applicable

to women only, so listen up. It doesn't hurt to have a

specific skin care range you are obsessed with,

ok maybe not obsessed but one that you like,

one that keeps you feeling rejuvenated and

renewed you need that. Apart from that once

or twice a month visit to the spa its recommend

you have products you can use in the comfort

of you own home.

Tips

'Expensive doesn't mean effective'

Like women purchase products according

to your skin type eg; dry, oily combination

 skin. Another important thing is

 reading reviews on products before

deciding which product will be better

suited for you and your skin care needs. Reviews

offer informative insight of other people

 experiences with the product,

worthy to look them up.

Face

Make sure you have your face wash, cleanser

& moisturizer. Wash your face regularly,

morning & evening this helps limit the daily

impurities accumulated throughout the day &

keeps your skin looking and feeling healthy.

If you have problem skin that requires more

attention consult your doctor.

Tips

We recommend cleansing & toning

 rather than regular exfoliating.

Should you prefer exfoliating do it once a

week before bed rather than regularly

as it strips the skin of its natural oils

which also leads to dryness and irritation.

Brands

Africology, Dermalogica,

Clarins men, Red Dane

Body

Just like your face the body seeks attention too.

We definitely recommend body scrubbing once in

a while, why pay so much to go to a spa when you

can have a spa at the tip of your finger tips

in the comfort of your own home.

Tips

When it comes to body products

try all products that consist of

 natural ingredient

Brands:

The body shopAfricology, Nivea,

Vaseline

Hands

You read correctly 'hands.' Hand care is also

a part of great grooming, Ever been

complimented on your hands before?

If not now you know why, so

allow us to give you the 'plug' on great

hand products that will get you

 outstanding compliments.

Tips

'Don't forget to sanitize'

Remember that your body parts have

different skin textures so the skin on

your face wont be the same skin texture as your

hands, the sensitivity varies hence the different

 skin care products designed

 to tackle different needs.

Brands

Palmer's, Vasinline, Neutrogena, Cerave

Beard

When it comes to take care of

your beard,nothings far

more & maintenance. From shaving creams &

gels, balms, moisturizers, oils,

shampoos & conditioners the following brands

don't seem to disappoint.

Tips:

Make sure you also compliment the

products you use with healthy eating

habits, plenty of water & exercise.

Brands

Gillette, Long Market Barber

Africology, Jack Black, Lab Series

Hair

A healthy man with healthy

hair. Just like the beard gang men who count

hair as part of their grooming routine are just

as justified in ensuring they have the suitable

products to maintain it. We love the fact that

 men's grooming products keep expanding

by the day to assist the modern man with the

 suitable products. whether your hair

 is silky smooth, natural,dreads or

bald hair care is still required

Tips

Don't go with brand names but products

that actually bring effective results &

the great benefits. Products such as

 clay/paste pomade, shampoo, conditioner,

oils & serums, gels & sprays the list goes on

Brands

Moroccan oil, Mizani, Jabu Stone,

  Cantu, Truimpth & Disaster

Colognes

As one of the main hygiene products

smelling good is a huge must. With a lot

of products to choose from this

makes it that much harder to pick.

Tips:

Always go for colognes that have a

lasting scent rather than an

 overwhelming smell.

Brands

Gucci, Paco Rabanne, Polo

Hugo Boss, Gorgio Armani

Tom Ford

5 TIPS TO GROWING A HEALTHY BEARD

We all know the importance of grooming right?
More so having or growing a healthy beard is like how
having healthy beautiful hair
is like a crown to many women. Grooming comes
to men is taking care of yourself entirely
from your skin, hair, beard, health & diet.
Don't think of it as something new but rather
the fact that men have always
taken care of themselves just that
 modern grooming
has somehow evolved with innovative
ways men are able to appreciate pampering
themselves more and taking pride in how they look.
In today's post we will be sharing the
5 Tips to growing a healthy beard according to

1. Taking care of your skin beneath

Well its not secret but its also relevant
that in order to have a healthy looking beard you
also need to take care of your skin. Its like
watering a seed in order to get a fully bloomed flower.
Same analogy with your beard gents. With this said daily
moisturization is required to ensure your
skin is smooth and healthy. The main source
guaranteed to assist with this is
H2O, drink plenty of it.

2. Avoid harsh products/ingredients

Be cautious of the products you use
not only on your face but products you use to grow
and maintain that healthy beard. Always
make sure you research the various products
you plan on using as well as recommendations
from a trusted source rather than resorting
to Youtube DIYS. Instead make sure you
include these products as part of your
 beard growing journey;
beard wash, beard balm, beard oil. Invest in
a great beard comb and brush.

3. Healthy eating

Healthy eating and balanced diet contribute a lot
to one having a healthy beard.
 Remember to feed your body
with much needed vitamins, proteins and nutrients
not forgetting an intake of water regularly
do avoid the effects of producing quiet the
opposite of a healthy beard and finding
 yourself with a beard that
is likely to be brittle, thin, dry, split ends and
prone to skin irritation, itching and not
as hydrated soft or easy to tame.

4. Exercise

One thing that compliments healthy eating
is putting in the physical work and exercising. By
doing this you increase the benefits of increased
testosterone levels, reduced stress as well as
 boosted metabolism.

5. Patience

Now this is something most of us fail at, Patience.
Well comes with the aim of getting positive final results.
In the process of growing that healthy
beard patience needs to be a virtue. Look at
it a life time investment after all ones
 greatest investment
is always himself, so give your beard
time to grow into its own. Things to avoid
while allowing your beard to grow is
experimenting with various products to
rush the process of natural growth,
trimming & shaping
